Organic Turf Care Program
Many homeowners and property mangers are looking for a environmentally responsible approach to their turf care management programs.
To help you obtain healthy green turf, Living Assets has designed an Organic Turf Care Program that incorporates premium 100% organic balanced fertilizers (OMRI Approved/NOFA Certified) with slow-release nitrogen, which helps increase microbial activity, humus amounts, and depth of root growth.
Now you can be confident about having your children, family, pets and friends play on your beautiful turf after each application. We don't just fertilize your turf, our program will restructure your soil!
Living Assets is a NOFA Accredited Organic Land Care Professional for the states of New York and Connecticut. We now offer an organic weed control called Corn Glutens. Applied just as the forsythia are blooming, it has been found to control crabgrass and other select broad-leaf weeds. This is pure corn maze!
Lawn Nutrient Program
Living Assets Turf Nutrient Program is a pesticide free alternative to our regular Integrated Turf Care Program. Our Nutrient Program includes all natural fertilizers that stimulate root and shoot development as well as turf greening and thickening. If you would like to have less weeds, we can spot treat for them as well.

Grub damaged lawn Our natural grub control is very effective on Japanese beetle, June beetle and certain other common lawn insects. It usually takes 3 to 5 years to achieve complete control of these insects.

Grub Treatment
Grubs, the laval stage of beetles, feed on the roots of your turf and can cause severe damage. A preventative application applied in May - July guarantees against grub damage.
Natural Lime Application
By lowering the pH of your soil, lime makes nutrients more available to your turf. Lime may be applied at any time of year.
Natural Sulfur Application
By raising the pH of your soil, sulfur makes nutrients more available to your turf. Sulfur may be applied any time of year.
Disease Treatment
High humidity, moisture and stress conditions can create favorable conditions for problematic fungi growth. Treatments are based on analysis of turf type and growing environment.
Core Aeration
Specialized equipment is utilized to alleviate soil compaction, reduce thatch build up and improve air movement and water penetration in the root zone of your turf. This results in a stronger root system and better looking turf. Annual core aeration is recommended for establishing and maintaining great healthy turf.
Slice Seeding
Our equipment slices through the thatch and plants new seed directly into the soil. High quality varieties of new grasses are introduced that will help your turf grow thicker and tolerate stress conditions. Slice seeding requires a commitment of regular watering to ensure maximum survival.
